Healthcare (Presenting for General Medical Council)

“David’s attention to detail is extraordinary.” (Legal 500, 2023)

“His patience and understanding make him stand out from others.” (Legal 500, 2023)

“Nothing is ever too much trouble” (Legal 500, 2023)

For almost a decade David has presented countless cases for the General Medical Council, often against Kings Counsel.  He has conducted numerous clinical misconduct cases involving expert witnesses.  He is able to call upon his experience and expertise when instructed to represent doctors and other professionals facing disciplinary proceedings.

Married to a hospital doctor, David has a good grasp of medical practice and procedures.  He is keenly aware of the seriousness of, and stress caused by a disciplinary investigation to a professional person.  Whether acting for the regulator or for the professional, David is sympathetic, sensitive, and scrupulously fair.

David enjoys good relationships with instructing solicitors.  He provides a first-rate service, making himself available to offer advice and assistance, including at very short notice.
