I am a specialist in catastrophic injury cases where someone’s life has been ruined by injury, such that they can no longer work in their chosen profession and may need help in their daily life.

My specialty is in managing these claims to a successful conclusion, hopefully by negotiation, but if need be by trial in the civil courts.

My preferred management style is to be involved at the beginning of a case in the analysis of the evidence, in advising what further steps need to be taken and in advising on the choice of experts, home visits to the client are usual.

Injuries on the field of sport can be sustained in circumstances that are outwith those envisaged and consented to within the sporting context, for which arises the potential to pursue a civil claim.

I have been a Queen’s Counsel for ten year specialising in major personal injury cases.
