The Lawyer magazine names Exchange Chambers as top ranked Northern Set
Exchange Chambers has today been named as the largest and highest ranked set in the North of England by The Lawyer Magazine.
With fee income of £21.7 million for the 2009 / 2010 financial year, Exchange Chambers has also gained two places in the overall “Bar top 30 by turnover” table.
Said Director of Chambers, Tom Handley:
“We are delighted with this news. It is credit to our strength in depth across the board, with all departments performing strongly.”
Exchange Chambers will further increase its presence in the North by launching a new Chambers in Leeds next month. The multi-disciplinary set, currently based in Liverpool and Manchester, has taken 6,000 sq ft at Oxford House, Oxford Row in Leeds City Centre.

“Expanding into Leeds is an exciting development for Chambers.It gives us a presence in the North’s three major legal centres and creates a real powerhouse of a Set.”
