Exchange Chambers has continued its fast-paced expansion in Leeds by welcoming three new barristers as members.
The new members are Emma Bennett who joins from 2 Kings Bench Walk in London, Alfred Weiss who joins from Zenith Chambers in Leeds and Chris Royle who joins from St Philip's Chambers in Birmingham.
Emma Bennett was called to the Bar in 2004. She has a broad practice covering criminal, civil and commercial litigation.
Alfred Weiss was called to the Bar in 2006 and has an expansive practice covering employment, personal injury and commercial.
Chris Royle was called to the Bar in 2009 and has a broad based civil / commercial and employment practice. He particularly specialises in bailiff and seizure law.
Commenting on Exchange Chambers' ongoing expansion in Leeds, Director of Chambers, Tom Handley said:

Commenting on her decision to join Exchange Chambers, Emma Bennett pointed to the Set's "strength in depth and quality of work". Alfred Weiss was equally upbeat, saying Exchange Chambers "stood out from the crowd," while Chris Royle referred to "the quality of people and track record of successful growth and development".
Since opening in Leeds in October 2010, Exchange Chambers has made eye catching progress.
Recently released market research indicates that 95.5% of Yorkshire based solicitors believe Exchange Chambers has strengthened the local Bar, while the Set has also been shortlisted for the Chambers of the Year award at the 2011 Yorkshire Legal Awards.
Rob Rode from Clarion Advocates in Leeds is one solicitor who has been watching Exchange Chambers' progress closely.
"I've been hugely impressed," he said. "There's a real focus and energy about their plans and they have made a big impression in a short amount of time."
