Exchange Chambers would like to congratulate Graham Wood QC on his appointment as a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Kenneth Clarke QC MP.
The Right Honourable The Lord Judge, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has assigned him to the Northern Circuit, based at Liverpool Civil and Family Court. He will be sitting on civil cases for the most part but will also sit on crime occasionally and in the Administrative Court.
Graham Wood QC, 54, will be known as His Honour Judge Graham Wood QC. He was called to the Bar in 1979 and took Silk in 2002. He was appointed as an Assistant Recorder in 1996, as a Recorder in 2000, as a Legal Member of the Restricted Patients Panel in 2007 and as a Deputy High Court Judge in 2010. He was called as Bencher of Middle Temple in June 2010.
