Exchange Chambers Appointed to new Panel

Exchange Chambers has secured a place on the Association of Labour Providers’ (ALP) new professional services panel.

ALP is the trade association for organisations that provide and use temporary, contract and seasonal workers within the food, agricultural and other Gangmaster Licensing Authority sectors.

The new panel is the brainchild of ALP Director, David Camp and will provide specialist legal, tax, HR and professional support advice for ALP members.

Said David Camp:

"We believe our legal support service will be of wide ranging appeal to labour providers.

"Our panel of experts includes a wide range of specialist advisers including solicitors, barristers, tax specialists and HR professionals.

"The service is available throughout the UK and covers areas such as contractual document preparation, client non-payment support, Gangmasters licensing compliance, employment law, vehicle licensing, national minimum wage, tribunal and court representation, VAT, PAYE and NI and immigration."

Said Tom Handley, Director of Chambers at Exchange Chambers:

“Exchange Chambers is delighted to be working with ALP on this initiative.

"We believe that there will be huge demand for this service as labour providers are under more regulatory pressure than ever before.”

Exchange Chambers has already secured a notable win for an ALP member by successfully defending numerous claims for holiday pay under the Working Time Regulations.
