Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds based Exchange Chambers has announced a partnership with the UK’s leading broker of Third Party Funding, Maxima LLP.
Announcing the tie up Tom Handley, Director of Chambers at Exchange Chambers said:
“Chambers’ partnership with Maxima LLP will enable our commercial department to source funding for almost all types of litigation.
“The litigation funding market is extensive, with multiple providers and numerous product options. Each provider has differing requirements so finding the most suitable funding arrangements for clients can be both complex and time consuming. Our partnership with Maxima LLP will enable us to use their extensive experience and expertise to find the perfect funding solution for our clients.”
Exchange Chambers is the first barristers’ Chambers to enter into a partnership with Maxima LLP.
“Exchange Chambers is a fast expanding and progressive Set with a first rate commercial department. We are delighted to be working with them,” said Mark Andrews, CEO at Maxima LLP.
“As the UK’s premier independent broker to fund all sizes of litigation, we recognise the range and differentials between funders. We are looking forward to working closely with Exchange Chambers so they can pass this knowledge and expertise on to their clients.”
About Litigation Funding
The litigation funding market is growing rapidly to meet the intrinsic problems of funding commercial litigation. Litigation funders are professional funders who may fund all or a fraction of a law firm’s and barrister’s fees for a client to pursue litigation, in return for a percentage of the settlement.
