Bill undertakes most areas of chancery and commercial law but specialises in property litigation, including landlord and tenant (commercial and residential), trusts of land disputes, Inheritance Act claims and disputes over partnership property. Recently he has conducted a substantial defence to a claim under a bank guarantee and a large family trust dispute concerning farm land. He also undertakes professional negligence arising out of these areas including loss of chance claims for and against solicitors. He is described by the Legal 500 as being "very knowledgeable in property litigation". Bill is the author of “Defective Premises Law and Practice” published by Sweet and Maxwell in 2008 and a large number of case notes and articles. He also lectures widely for Liverpool Law Society and CLT amongst others.
