In Silk, Tania has consolidated on her Defence PI practice developed as a junior, of defending Government Departments, Local Authorities , Police Authorities and Insurers in relation to both public liability and employer liability claims through which she has developed particular experience and expertise in defending claims which are fabricated, exaggerated or inflated.
Tania has experience in all aspects of personal injury litigation, including:
* Injuries of the brain and skull including
cognitive impairment, personality change
and psychiatric effects.
* Injuries of the neck and spinal / spinal cord injuries
involving tetraplegia and paraplegia.
* Industrial disease: mesothelioma, asbestosis,
benzene exposure, VWF, deafness.
* Sports injuries, particularly in a military context
including football, abseiling, climbing,
swimming/diving accidents.Also, in the same
context familiar with dealing with issues relating
to loss of career and the physical/ psychological
consequences thereof.
* Stress and bullying claims
* Claims for emotional damage resulting from physical/
sexual abuse/neglect.
* Inquests, particularly in relation to deaths in custody
