Having recently successfully completed my pupillage at Exchange Chambers, I am now looking to develop a practice in general Chancery Commercial, with an emphasis on insolvency.
This will reflect my experiences during my pupillage and my experiences to date as a junior tenant where I have appeared in a wide range of cases including small claims, fast track trials, interim and final injunction hearings, possession hearings, both corporate and individual insolvency and applications including summary judgment, default judgment and winding up petitions. I have also been regularly instructed to draft pleadings or advise in a range of claims involving guarantees, contractual disputes, consumer credit claims and transactions at an undervalue.
My first degree was Mathematics with a Year in Europe Four Year Course BSc with First Class Honours received on 1st August 2008. Having spent a year in Grenoble, continuing my studies, I am fluent in French. For my subsequent conversion to law, and the Bar Vocational Course, I returned to my native Yorkshire, studying at York and Leeds respectively.
