Graham is a common law practitioner specialising in cases of medical complexity within the civil, public law and criminal fields, a specialism which has developed from over 20 years experience in handling personal injury, industrial disease and clinical negligence actions.
Graham represents both Claimants and Defendants especially in claims of injuries of utmost severity involving both brain and spinal cord. He is regularly instructed on behalf of motor cycle amputees. Adept in IT, he has developed spreadsheet systems for special damage calculations which have been shared with fellow members of the PI team in chambers.
Graham is the co-editor of Bingham’s Negligence Cases (4th edition) and has lectured extensively on public authority negligence. He has been involved recently in representing the victims of abuse in Childrens’ Homes in multi-party actions.
He is a member of the Personal Injuries Bar Association, and a former Northern Circuit representative and conference organiser for PIBA. He sits as a recorder in the Crown and County Court and as a legal assessor on the General Dental Council.
