Digby has over 30 years’ experience of commercial, professional negligence, and construction litigation and arbitration, and is recommended by Havers' Directory of the Bar and The Legal 500. He is a nationally acknowledged author of several textbooks, and, as a practitioner has appeared in many reported cases in insurance law.
Digby is one of very few practising Barristers in the North of England who is also a fully-trained Chartered Arbitrator, and he has been on the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators’ Panel of Arbitrators since 1999 and is now on TECBAR's approved list of Arbitrators for building/construction disputes. He has received many appointments in both commercial disputes, and building/construction arbitrations, where the value of the dispute has ranged from tens of thousands to many millions.
Digby is well-known to the North West branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, having been active in it since 1981 and having served as its Chairman in 1992-93.
