Chris is regularly instructed by local authorities and RSLs. He will aim to turn around advisory work and drafting within 7 days of receipt and can attend to instructions more promptly if requested to.
Chris has experience of all aspects of housing law including:
* Possession and demotion proceedings
* Disrepair claims
* Homelessness litigation
He has particular interest in anti-social behaviour litigation and is regularly instructed for:
* Application for anti-social behaviour orders and injunctions
* Committal applications
Chris is a member of the Nothern Administrative Law Association and has experience of Judicial Review proceedings including:
* Review of the decisions of magistrates' courts
* Review of the decisions of local authorities
Chris also has experience of representing and advising local authorities in PI litigation. Fast track and multi-track personal injury litigation makes up a substantial part of Chris' practice. He has a significant defence practice and undertakes all aspects of PI work.
Chris is always happy to deliver seminars in legal developments, practice and procedure (either at Chambers or elsewhere).
