A core part of Anthony’s practice both as a junior and QC, has always been property; both land law and landlord and tenant.
He has appeared in property cases at all levels of tribunal from the First Tier through county courts to the Chancery Division, Court of Appeal and House of Lords (and he would hope, in due course the Supreme Court). He has also appeared in the Isle of Man.
He has been recommended in property work in every edition of Chambers (now Chambers UK) Guide, this year' guide also including reference to his substantial mediation work.
He enjoys the construction of rights in contracts and deeds and its leading to the identification first of the interlocutory or preliminary issue way forward, though of course he welcomes unavoidable trials.
His interests in private life include listed buildings (he lives in one).
