Amanda is an experienced personal injury and clinical negligence practitioner. Her practice involves expertise in medical and healthcare issues. She handles many claims involving serious brain injury where issues relating to mental capacity arise. Amanda has been invited to lecture to lawyers and doctors on the Court of Protection and the Mental Capacity Act 2005. She has also dealt with many cases in which there are issues relating to statutory funding for care and accommodation.
Amanda is a member of the Northern Circuit Administrative Law Association. She is also a Recorder (authorised to sit on Civil and Family cases) and an Accredited Mediator.
