William Hanbury

Bill undertakes most areas of civil litigation but specialises in property litigation, including landlord and tenant (both commercial and residential) and housing.  He also undertakes judicial review of housing and immigration decisions and   professional negligence arising out of his practice areas. He is described in the Legal 500 as being “very knowledgeable in property litigation”.  Bill is the author of “Defective Premises Law and Practice” published by Sweet Maxwell in 2008 as well as a large number of case notes and articles. He sits part-time as an immigration judge of both the First and Upper Tiers and lectures widely for various organisations including Liverpool Law Society and CLT.

 

Bill also undertakes work involving:

·         Defective premises claims including those under environmental law
