Natalia Cornwall

Practice

 

Natalia acts on behalf of both the prosecution and defence and has experience in the following areas of crime:

 

           Violent offences

           Dishonesty offences

           Drugs offences

           Public Order offences

           Sexual offences

           Road Traffic offences

           Confiscation proceedings

 

She is a Category 2 prosecutor for the CPS (Category 2) an also acts for DWP and HMRC.  Natalia also undertakes work on behalf of local authorities and has experience in taxi-licensing law.

 

Recent experience

 

She has acted in Section 20 trials and is currently instructed to act in an allegation of Common Assault on a baby.

 

Natalia also recently represented a man who suffered from ‘asperghers syndrome’ who had been charged with fraudulently obtaining hospital medical records.  She has also acted in several benefit fraud trials and has acted for both prosecution and defence in cases of drug possession with intent to supply.

 

She has also acted in robbery cases ranging from street robbery to the more serious armed robbery of a shop.

 

Natalia also acted (for the defence) in the case of R v Gary Chambers where there was a POCA order in excess of £200,000.
