Louis Browne

Louis is an experienced and well known practitioner in this field.  He acts for both Claimants and Defendants including several local authorities and registered social landlords in very high value personal injury claims.  Generally he will accept instructions only where the value of a claim exceeds £250,000.

He is Treasury Counsel and therefore has a very wide range of experience of claims involving e.g The Home Office and Ministry of Defence.  His practice includes these particular sub-specialisms

• brain injury (adult and paediatric)

• very serious spinal cord injury

• the most serious orthopaedic injuries

• fatal Accidents.

• mesothelioma (receiving regular instructions in such

  cases)

• clinical negligence

• inquests – he has appeared in some of the most

  important inquests in the North of England and

  over recent years

• costs in PI cases (CFA’s and CCFA’s)
