Claire Gourley

Having begun practice 9 years ago with a wide variety of work, Claire now practises exclusively in the field of personal injury. She represents a mixture of Claimants and Defendants, including local authorities, at all levels of hearings from directions to trial and beyond, into costs arguments.

Claire undertakes work for both Claimants and Defendants within the whole arena of personal injury law including:

* Highway Act claims, including the adoptive nature of the

   highway
* Occupiers’ Liability Act claims
* Employers’ liability claims
* Actions for personal injury against landlords
* Education claims including accidents at school

Her practice also includes:

* Animals Act claims
* Tree cases, including liability for subsidence as a

   result of tree roots
* Education claims
