·         Both litigation and advisory work in relation to all forms of insolvency regime, including Administrations, Liquidations, Receiverships, Personal and Corporate Voluntary Arrangements.

·         Advising in relation to all forms of corporate restructuring and trusts law.

·         Insolvency-specific actions on behalf of both office-holders and individuals including misfeasance, preference and other transactional avoidance provisions.

·         Carly’s practice outside Insolvency means Carly regularly also acts for office-holders generally in a wide-range of non-insolvency specific litigation, including fraud claims, commercial and contractual disputes, securities claims, professional negligence, third party liability for receipt and assistance etc.

·         Asset Recovery and Tracing both domestic and international.

·         Injunctive relief including Freezing Injunctions.

 

Experience and Current Cases:

 

·         Acted in relation to the well-publicised insolvency of the Kwik Save Group.

·         Advising in relation to the insolvency of a number of Football Clubs including Portsmouth Football Club and Northwich Victoria Football Club.

·         Representing an international football agent in personal insolvency proceedings for recovery of disputed agents fees against a premiership player.

·         Application to the Supreme Court of the Seychelles to assist in asset tracing and recovery within a domestic insolvency regime.

·         In the matter of Lune Metal Products Ltd (in Administration)

·         Acted for large well-known city law firm in insolvency litigation arising from the Lexi Holdings Fraud Litigation.

·         Regularly appears on behalf of major banks including Royal Bank of Scotland and Barclays in relation to a variety of insolvency regimes.
