The fraud team has an enviable reputation within this field and has strong links with the North West panel of Serious Fraud Solicitors. Members of the fraud team are involved in all types of criminal prosecutions both for the Crown (whether the prosecution is brought by the CPS, Serious Fraud Office, HM Revenue and Customs, DTI or DWP) and for the defence. Such cases may involve allegations of fraud of the order of hundreds of millions of pounds. Members of the team do not restrict their practises to the Northern Circuit but act in fraud cases throughout England and Wales.
