NOTES

1 It is always important not to allow a label to be attached to the injured person eg "paraplegic". Everyone is an individual, with different injuries and different effects.

2 The hydrotherapy pool is always contentious, but the claims are getting stronger. Doctors are more ready to appreciate the need for this type of therapy, and in this case an additional argument was that such a pool would allow the Claimant to enjoy playing with his children; the family had been keen on swimming before the accident.
