SETTLEMENT REPORT

Injury aged 70

Tetraparesis/tetraplegia

£1.36 million

The Claimant was 70 at the date of the accident, and 75 by the time of the settlement meeting, two months before trial. He had deteriorated significantly since the accident (an example of how important it can be to make sure that the future can be predicted with confidence).

The following figures were not agreed by the defence, and court approval was not required, but they represent a good estimate of the probable award a court would have made.
